Dear friends, work has begun on Scary Go Round book 6, encompassing Jan-early Nov 2007's comics. I started a bit too fast last weekend and my body told me to slow down in no uncertain terms. But you will be pleased that I have made my first attempt at the cover! There are usually about 70 attempts, but it's something to look at isn't it? Yes it is.

i found this the other day (after watching the dreadful Alfie remake) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shelley_Winters - was it a deliberate reference? i think it deserves a disambiguation page either way ;)
I called her Shelley after Shelley Long from Cheers (maybe? I don't really remember) - then appended a "right" sounding surname. I wasn't really aware of the actress Shelley Winters but of course I'd seen the Poseidon Adventure so it must have been in my head somewhere.
The cover looks great and the title fits perfectly. Now, all you have to figure out is the back cover.

The colour scheme is marvellous, and the distance between shades is just right for the title/authorship credit etc. I must say, this draft gets 6 stars out of 5 and a ham sandwich from me.
