For laundry reasons I decided to wear my disappointing Spoon shirt today. When I put it on, I rather liked the cut of my jib in it. I had a new quality, some might call it a "manliness". So I have decided it is an all right t-shirt, though I'm still not sure if it is all right to source goods in Honduras, where child labour is a kind of national sport.

I can't believe these posts don't get 2000 replies. They're both thought-provoking AND insightful.

1999 to go....
Dear sir, if you were any more manly or your jib more stylish, that would surely overload many a lady's swoon-o-meter.
I have only refrained from replying incessantly to these posts because I am shy, and also felt it might be annoying and/or creepy. But! I am a loyal reader and much enjoy your words here.
Hey, I read 'em too, but only because I've already been through all of your other output, sometimes more than once.
And 1997 to go ...
They are so thought-provoking and insightful that often we wander off in awe, our heads abuzz with so many ideas that we need to go have a bit of a lie-down to get our bearings on reality again. At that point, posting a reply becomes intimidating.
Either that, or we're just all reluctant to give the impression that we are obsessed stalkers.
Perhaps a new tagline for Scary Go Round could be "Catering to an appreciative but timid readership since 2002".
PS: I predict a photo of the aforementioned manliness would overwhelm that timidity and garner many replies from lady readers!
What Anik said.
Echoing above: pics plz.
Anyway, excellent drawing job today with the angry The Boy. He positively radiates hormonal anger! I also appreciated finding out his real name. Hooray!
i like it when a t-shirt makes me feel manly.
i myself have an old sex pistols shirt that i've worn a million times and when i wear it, it makes me feel like a manly punk. i have no idea why i felt the need to share that.
i am making this reply because i *want* to and not because you told me to or anything. hmph!
I prefer a shirt that makes me feel womanly. Or like a bad-ass punk. I have perfected the shampoo mohawk with my newly shorn hair but I have yet to wear it out of the shower and in public. Not with shampoo, with gel or hairspray! Probably both.
i use soap on my mohawk! for that classic non-moisturing shiny crust.
wow, i just made my hair sound a lot worse than it actually looks. :-/
i agree with what anik said. i distinctly remember seeing you at mocca-fest a year ago, and being a bit too intimidated to approach.
i did, however, gather the courage to watch you from afar. it was very nice to have almost met you!
Nothing reassures the internet cartoonist like the knowledge that the stalkers are watching. ;)
I collect the tissues you throw away and have made a statue out of the soft, double-ply sheets.
I was so inspired by this post that I reinstated my blogger account. Oh? The dates don't match?
Clearly, the Brits have invented some fiendish form of time-travelling inspiration.
Tarkus!
Dammit! I was going to say Tarkus!!
Good obs!
