Ward em off

After the brief congregation of evil spirits over the blog early in the week, I'm burning sage and getting the good feelings back. Here's a drawing I did today for one reason or another (secret).

My, that is a big book, no doubt full of unspeakable knowledge.

I'm glad to see the Tackleford Terrorsome Two are still exorcising their talents.

Puns are fun.

bbc2.png? Hmm...

Y'know, if you did a t-shirt with this on it I'd buy on in a minute. Or maybe a second.

BBC2! I noticed that when I typed it out! But there is a clue to why that is the file name in the picture, Pete.

Tools of the trade... bell, book, and candle... which due to my childhood influenced by infocom text adventures I will always associate with Zork I...

now THAT i would buy on a poster, or a tshirt, or a bag, or a freaking bar of soap, for that matter.
bell book and candle! shells and ames! odd stripey socks! it's all sorts of different flavors of delightful fan gratification at once. did you even know you were doing it when you made it?

BBC2 - Open University with bearded gentlemen? Perhaps The Great Egg Race with Professor Heinz Wolf? or... dare I dream of The Adventure Game, of which the Crystal Maze was a pale pretender?

I think you would have struggled to force a piece of tissue paper into a gap representing the difference between the Crystal Maze and the Adventure Game.

BBC2 is an apology for a channel now but that's because the smart stuff is on BBC4 and the dumb stuff is on BBC3. So BBC2 is invariably BBC Paxman or BBC Darts. Come the analogue switch off, expect BBC2 as-is to cease to exist, rebranded BBC SPORTS LIVE &etc

to be honest, all the good stuff is on Radio 4. In my opinion, anyway.

ooo I like it! Please tell me this is the next poster or something similar!?

Oh and on a related vein, are you going to do another hoody anytime? I've worn mine to death!

Hey man. Cam e across your blog by accident. I read SCARY-GO-ROUND a while ago, and I'll be bookalsed if you aren't the same guy who draws it. Anyway, I REALLY like you colour-pencil stuff/watercolour stuff WAY more then the perfect lines with your WACOM tablet. WAY more! More original pen & paper stuff! Asseblief (that's Afrikaans for PLEASE!)

It's an excellent pic but I secretly hate Amy for being able to do the smock/leggings thing which I cannot.

Don't worry, kitten. Nobody can really pull off the leggings thing (with the exception of 10-year-old girls). It's all a vast conspiracy of the fashion industry to get you to spend money on something all of us look ridiculous in. I accuse Sienna Miller of being an accomplice in the crime.
