Erin Winters And The Bone Throne Of Bones

Well, Scary Go Round book 7 has been paid for and gone to the printers, so I must turn my attention to the accompanying minicomic, "Erin Winters And The Bone Throne (Of Bones)". The only rules of this comic are that it will comprise one sheet of A4 paper, neatly folded, and it will feature the much beloved Erin Winters, the character the public most want to see back on their screens.

What will this story involve? Exactly how small are the panels going to be? Do I really have to print 450 of them? How can the result possibly please anybody? I will report back once progress begins.

Off topic, the Hogarth Gin Lane panel was one the best laughs I've had in 2009.

And you're bringing back Erin? Tho' I suspect her Bone Throne adventure doesn't leave Hell. I thought you were well and done with her, though I'm one of the many who wasn't. Still, I didn't want to bug you to write a character you're creatively finished with.

If you're returning to her just to torture her, I'll say that a lot of authors are plagues upon their characters' lives. Hope you're having fun with it!

Have I missed the chance to preorder, somehow, or has that option not come up yet? Would like to get that mini-com very much but, dedicated reader I am, could find no way of preordering when the initial announceemt was made... :(

Erin Winters! As a member of the aforementioned public I eagerly look forward to her return.

(Also: re: today's comic: While I realize it goes against the spirit of things (your spirit of things) to request a t-shirt with actual characters on it, I think such an item featuring "DESPAIR" written over Ryan's head would be pretty nice.)

Gene: she is a hard character for me to write but this should be within my powers and hopefully her many fans will enjoy it.

James: no pre-order as yet.

Gabbiana: t-shirts with human figures are a very hard sell and there is probably a psychological reason for that.

I basically just wanted to wish you luck as you place your helmet upon your head, turn the lamp on, and head into the Comics Mine with a jaunty whistle and golden pickax slung over your shoulder.

I promise I will buy at least one copy (and if you found an extra box of the first book laying around somewhere, I would buy TWO copies out of principle and a bonus extra pony just because I've always wanted a pony).

Economic times are terrible. I'm coming into some cash soon, but can't say for how long free cash will remain free. Got any firm idea of when the books will be ready to ship out?

Cuthain, I don't start the pre-order until the books are on the boat from China. It is a long process so you might as well either put $15 inside a book and save it until April or May or just spend it on something else.

Nah, it's more like $26 as I always get them personalized. The real reason I ask is because I still need Great Aches and I'd order them together if the new one's coming out soon. I'll hold on until mid April and just get them seperately if it's not up. It's only £3.
