I love American freedom as many of you know. I salute the eagle and would personally dry his tears on Old Glory. But travelling into the country just gets worse and worse.
Here's why I'm not attending any conventions in the USA this year or for the forseeable future. It's starting to get silly.

He's gone in a year and we can start fixing the stuff he has screwed up over here. Still I have to say that Heathrow isn't exactly a fuzzy friendly welcome for us non-Eu sorts either and it would be a shame if we all just let them keep us at home.
I couldn't help but notice that your latest comic (February 12, 2008) features my local coop - nice renditioning of the sign!

Never fear, soon Obama will be president and all will be well.
"starting" to get silly?
Centipede: I have to tread carefully, four G-men read everything I write because I'm friends with Jeff Rowland.
Sasha: look out for more hastily rendered Portland areas on Wednesday and Thursday! I notice that other webcomics are slow to do stories set in Oldham, maybe that will change now.
I am excited about Portland being in Scary-go-round! I don't actually live there but my sister does and I have been there occasionally, so that counts, right?
Right?
The fact that Oregon made it into your comic has definitely made me a happy camper. It's pretty wonderful knowing that my little home state can make an impression on you!
I'm sorry we're crazier than shithouse rats here.
I don't know about you guys, but I for one love living in a police state. Because, y'know, if we let the crazy people out there interact with the, uh, normal people in here . . . seriously. Things would get out of control.
It kinda goes both ways: http://tiny.cc/tY5Pf
If it makes you feel any better, your merchandise sells quite well at conventions! ^_^; I have a few of your shirts from SDCC last year - although a number of the ones I wanted sold out. >_>;;
Effin' USA. It's so dumb. I hate hate hate bush, and the USA's policy with, I dunno, everything.
Meh, just fly here into Toronto--or Vancouver--and hop on a train or short flight from there. No-one ever suspects Canadians of terror shenanigans and you can maybe see some Canuck fans along the way?
