Somersault Notes!

I did a bit more on my poster last night, I worked too long into the evening on it and feel a bit mentally feeble today but oh well.

Ah that brings back many happy memories of camping in the Yorkshire Dales. Beautiful stone-houses in the village at the back of the camp ground, music playing from someone else's tent, the feel of soft mud under the tent floor. I don't recall the umpteen-storey-high robot but maybe I'd had a few beers at the local at that point.

Nice work by the way. I spent a happy couple of minutes flipping back and forth between the images to be certain of capturing all the latest nuances.

est-ce que le robot est français? that is amazingg, robots are never french!! they are, like most other things, made in japan and various asian islandic countries! i wonder if french robots are more romantic? or just more gutteral and throaty in talking bleeps and blips?

this is a very lovely new print, john allison; i always tend to favor your hand drawn crafts, but this one is awfully pretty!

Doing this big story, I've had lots of ideas for little stories that I can't do! I really want to draw some camping action, French camping in the restrictive French hinterlands.

Nice "Fruit Fucker" in Help The Wretched.

I see no reason not to do more canvases as the last ones went so quickly!

I received my Desmond shirt the other day. It's so green! And sea-monstery! Thanks, John A.!

This is apropos of absolutely nothing but I really like Desmond, a lot. He's sort of surly and not particularly good and generally, I think he'd be fun to hang out with.

Thanks Victoria, and thanks Margaret! Desmond is here to stay with his irresponsible ways. Sadly, based on sales, his tshirt is not.
