P'IVY 2

That's quite enough Poison Ivy for one day. I found it a bit strange to discover that the most modern comic book iteration of Poison Ivy is, to all intents and purposes, naked. Such poverty of design aspiration, more sad than "sexy".

If she's too nude you're too old!

In all fairness, the idea is now (at least in the rank and file Bat books) that she's some sort of plant/human hybrid, and thus doesn't really worry about wearing clothing too much, any more than your common ordinary variety dandelion would.

Of course, it depends sometimes on where she's appearing and who's drawing her...

I've always liked Poison Ivy because her villainous super power is that she likes plants a lot, I guess, which I find very charming. Why not a super villain who's just nuts about water conservation? Or one who's really into volunteering at soup kitchens?

I think some interpretations of her draw on the cartoony image of Eve, with the fig leaves and such. Maybe that's why she keeps losing clothing? Either way, I think you nailed it. I'm really looking forward to when DC hires you to do the very un-gritty, not-dark, family friendly Batman reboot. Nice is the new edgy.

A nice Ivy could team up with Envirocat. What a super save-the-planet team! :)
