I see you with your big harpoon, killing whales all afternoon

Thanks for the comments on prints and that. I was reminded during the course of the discussion that I used to do the odd small watercolour, and thought I'd do a couple this afternoon. Kate Beaton suggested I do a Blackbeard one (as a staunch lover of the sea) so here are the two I made. I'll probably put them on eBay once they are dry and I've trimmed the wiro tears off the top. Starting price, 100 pence.

Update: the eBay listings are up! Shelley here, Ryan & Blackbeard here.

The black beard picture isn't signed?

I signed it once it dried a bit.

I am very glad that you have moved beyond the "lady standing in the middle of the frame" compositions. Do more! They will only get better and better.

Is Shelley wondering about Space Vampires from Planet Sapphus X?

I think I need to go and use the scourge again ...

Love them! I can never afford the autions though, but I sure will give it a go!

I'd say you just solved your T-shirt design dilemma with these two.

Shelley is striking quite the Willow Rosenberg on the cemetary wall pose there. Or maybe I just think so because I pulled out the old Buffy DVDs. Plus, vampires!

I always think of Shelley as John A's alter ego. Which makes my feelings for her very confusing...

Yes please, can we have the blackbeard one on a t-shirt?

I tihink those paintings are a little too cmplex to print on a shirt economically: the sirts tend t be two-tone at most.

Mind you, I expect a cartooning man as talented as Mr A could adapt the designs ...

woohoo! I am a wiener!

the shelley one was quite a bit more popular (and by popular, I mean expensive). I didn't expect to be in the minority in my preference for blackbeard...
