i LOVE it! holy moly, I think i'm gay for shelley. if you were to paint on it more, you should only paint on the water. if you mess up her face i will get on a plane and come break all of your pencils in half out of grief.

i am strange and like it, but my favorite part (and this is the strange part) I like the small reflections/ shadows of the legs in the water most.
I will put my money where my mouth is and buy that painting and pay for shipping to Japan and give it a loving home.
That is, if that whole backyard burial deal doesn't work out!
I imagine Time Team will get quite the shock if they ever decide to investigate rumours of Roman forts in Oldham.
It's a very nice painting, John. Something about the bossom seems a little off, but it's still all very nice.
