I really like the design, its bold. The t-shirt colour itself is nice, i prefer those kinds of colours as they are easier to match with stuff. I don't have to spend ages looking for a good over-shirt that would go with it like I do with my Irish panda, that one was well received on st. patricks day though! ;)

I like the design, but I'm not so keen about the shirt colour. Perhaps a nice white, or light green?

With two blog comments, one kind of ambivalent, the only shirt this will be appearing on now is a SHROUD.

Speaking only for myself - it'd be better if the zoom lines where straight, like how they appear in the comic, to give a better impressions of SUPERSONIC BELL WHIZZING SPEEDS

yeah, I would totally beg my husband for a flying bell shirt if it was designed more like the one in the comic.

I tried it with the feathers five different ways, it looked horrible, Natalie. I have sabotaged a lot of things that people would have bought over the years because they didn't translate to something graphically pleasing to me.

If i was the ambivalent one let me rephrase. I'm all for this shirt!

enough of these bells and number calculating devices(as lovely as they are), for what the world most truly needs is a lamp post cow blazoned across its collective chest.

LAMP POST COW,
s'il.
vous.
plait.

The design of this shirt is pretty awesome, and the picture of The Bell is excellent, but I agree that the tan background doesn't necessarily do it justice. Maybe a white, red, or blue shirt to complement the design.

I agree with matt; straight lines are where it's at. Also I could be keen on yellow lines off of a kelly green or aqua blue shirt?
Being one of the first to request such an item, I almost feel bequeathed to give my $.02

So what you want is... an entirely different design in every way.

Not an entirely different design for me, just striaght zoom iines. Other than that, I love it.

I am going to shut up now for fear of upsetting your further, my cartoon genius feller-me-lad!

Ignore this back seat designging John, I think it's bloody gorgeous, put that on an AA medium and the man from paypal will be round faster than you can say 75% shrinkage!

If straight won't work maybe just one curved one? I'm sort of seeing rainbow wings as is, and that doesn't quite fit in with the awesomeness that is the bell.

My only concern is that the arrangement of the colors on the shirt makes the bell seem Russian rather than French.

i think the design is awesome and i would buy it. but i agree with the comments on the shirt colour - i'm not quite so keen there.

but please not a red shirt as i am a ginger and red is not a good colour for me.

i think the design is adorable. what is the shirt color though? it looks like pale pink on my screen, which i would personally love or a bright blue would be nice too, something in the lapis/cerulean family (that's right i went to art school). as long as it's not the natural/tan color as it makes me look like death warmed over.

ok i will stop stepping on your design toes now.

I'm not sure this design is an entirely successful translation on the bell from the comic.

But there are plenty more ideas! Have you noticed the outcry for a lamp-post cow shirt? http://www.scarygoround.com/?date=20080324
