Kind of an old school machine

I made some Machine Man wallpaper to pay tribute to the 1980s Marvel robot guy. You can download it if you want to make it your desktop!

I don't make wallpapers for public consumption any more because there are so many different screen sizes, so you will be on your own when it comes to resizing it. Just be brave.

Nice. It is adorning my monitor as I type.

In case you weren't aware Machine Man is back. Currently kicking butt with a bunch of other misfits in "Nextwave: Agents of H.A.T.E." by Warren Ellis. It's pretty funny stuff and worth a look if you like that kind of thing.

no one dares call him Machine Man anymore.

I haven't read a Machine Man story since about 1986 but in those days people were still allowed to have fun. One time Machine Man had a gun put in his finger and another time his legs fell off and they kind of attached a wheel between the stumps to make him into a unicycle (of sorts). At least I think that second one happened.

If they put me in charge of Marvel Comics, you'd see a lot more of that sort of thing. Machine Man would have his own book, but it would be a flip book and the other half would be Jocasta trying to solve lady robot hair problems etc. I'm pretty sure they'll put me in charge any day now.
