Everybody's got one

Several requests in my inbox ask for Esther's eyebpatch skull shirt. Alas I can't just blow up the thing in the comic (and to think many of your favourite webcartoonists put tshirts in their comics to sell them!) so I have spent the last hour trying to make this work in a "look like you tried" way. Feel free to vote "yes" for success or "no" for the now traditional burying+shooting.

Please do not bury and shoot. I want to buy one!

Yes! I may not be over the moon about the particular color, but the design? The design makes me glad I just got a raise.

I want this. I want a skull shirt to wear!

Looks good to me.

Why is this not in the store yet? There's money crying out to be spent!

Honestly, I like the simpler (more comic-y) version that actually appears in the comic, sans flames, eyeball, and nose-hole. The bottom jaw I like okay.

Of course I think I'm also in the camp of that's something I probably wouldn't wear in any case. Unless the whole design was much smaller.

In a semi-related shirt topic, is there any chance of the "Death Has a Bunny" and "Bears Will Eat You" shirts being reprinted on American Apparel?

Generally, I'm in preference of something cuter. I'm a girly mess and I only like things that are either cute or disgustingly tacky. If the design could be tweaked a bit (maybe a few strategically placed hearts here and there, a smiley face, i'm not sure) and the colors more contrasting, it could be a huge hit with les femmes!

You could even option a 'his and hers' set, like charming bath towels! HIS: huge neon flames everywhere, a snake coming out of a rotting skull eye. HERS: happy skull face, exploding hearts, cute pirates!

All right, I will make it, the responses have been good enough. Good enough for this old carthorse of a man.

My next project after this is to do some extremely lavish letterpressed greetings cards. They have to sweat class and poo quality. I may be... some time.

I take your point but the think in the comic is just a few lines, it has no substance! Doubt has entered my mind, I have decided to go out back and shoot it.

No!!!
I had just convincd myself to buy this one! And I had already grown increasingly excited about it! No shooting! No outbacking!

Bah!

All kidding aside, letterpress greeting cards are the bomb diggity. I snag some every year for sending out Christmas greetings (I know a guy who has access to all manner of old printing presses).

boo to cuteness! this shirt is perfect as it is! Unless, of course, you printed it on a pink bella shirt and added flower petals! And instead of a skull, a squirrel! Same basic concept, right?

I love the shirt AS IS.

I love the color, the flames, the rotten teeth, the shading. I hope you don't change a thing.

If you want something cute, buy Books Rule! I get so many compliments on that one it's almost silly.

But I DO like the idea of his and hers shirts. It's just... I want this one more than a skull with hearts. That sort of thing makes no sense, sorry Soda. But maybe his and hers goblins or devil bears or jellyfish... or something new?

Hoping upon hope that you have reconsidered again John, and that this shirt is going to be my first of many purchases from you...
