Awesome is an adjective and one that only Lionel Richie is in a position to use every day.
Last night I dreamt that I had been invited to a launch party for Black Kids' (hot rock tips for 08!) new single. But while the single was played (I love dreams where you hear music that doesn't actually exist), the main thrust of the evening was pushing Black Kids' range of associated merchandise. I am proud to recount what you could get:
1. "Action Van" in three sizes
2. Speedboat being ridden by plastic stag
3. Pickup truck
4. Limited edition set of two pickup trucks whose cabs were threaded through one another like a chain (I was given the hard sell on this one)
5. 12" remix record and accompanying embroidered crochet blanket.
I woke up at 4.10am in kind of a panic. What can all this mean?

That sounds uncannily like the merchandise table at the average British Sea Power gig.
The plastic stag on a speedboat is a particularly fine - if inexplicable - item.
It's a call to be ghetto-fabulous in '08.
Glenatron, the last thing I did before going to sleep was read an interview... with British Sea Power!
It all makes sense now! For some, deeply limited, values of "sense".
I imagine that you would like BSP- their third album is already better than their second after only a few listens. It's unlikely that an album could even be made that was superior to their debut.
Sad they're leaving us for the U.K. shortly but our loss is your gain.
Did you eat any odorous cheese while reading the article?
Last week I had a dream that I was shopping for thick rimmed plastic glasses so I could fit in with all the cartoonists.
Unfortunately, the glasses store had none in that style and I was about to leave when I noticed they had Scary Go Round merchandise. They were only glasses cases and notebooks and other such mundane items (no stags driving speedboats), but it improved my dream opinion of the dream glasses store.
