Continental drift divide
Firstly, let me apologise for the lack of blog updates lately. I spent a lot of time getting book 4 off to the printers and sorting out proofs and Fed Ex and greasing certain wheels in the "underground" to make sure things turn out extra good. And next week I am off to Massachusetts and New York for MoCCA Artfest, which requires a certain amount of preparation (mostly ironing). Plus I have been marshalling approximately 8 million entries for SGR Idol, all of which required careful scrutiny by the jury. But now I am back back back to tell you that everything is going to be okay. It's going to be... okay.
I wish I had more to report but you don't get to have any adventures when you're ironing. Apart from the accidental, painful kind.

I look forward to seeing the SGR Idol winners. Regretfully, time was not on my side and I never got to draw my planned entry.
I've selected them, I know who the winner is. There were 91 entries, that was an awful lot of entries. I figured I'd get about 20.
I'll keep my fingers crossed, my rabbit's without a foot and my lambs neatly sacrificed.
Mayb the best cartoonist win, ne?
I too am intrigued to see the SGR Idol candidates / winner.
I rather wanted to send in an entry myself, but was beset at every side by imperfect drawing skills and a lack of good SGR-related jokes. Maybe next year...
Massachusetts? Did I miss something? When/where are you going to be in Massachusetts? All I can find on the front page is NYC...
91? *face falls* Damn, that IS a lot. So much for MY one shot at world fame... *l*
But, yes, may the best cartoonist win! I'm curious to see them too. :)
