Tote design 1: RAINDROPS

I'm working on some new tote designs. I want some classy ones to start with. Or as classy as a straw-sucking yokel like me knows how to be. Let me know if you enjoy these!

So pretty! I'd love to see this in a waterproof material so it could be my rainy day bag. Or a non-waterproof material so it can be my wishing-it-were-raining bag?

This is pretty excellent, but it could be made better with recursion! put this tote design, on the tote in the design. a 90 degree recursive loop of rainy goodness.

Hey John, I like the design a lot, but I wonder if the umbrella looks a bit too much like bat's wings. I get that it's flopping up because she is leaping, but maybe the puckering at the top could be less extreme?

Actually what I REALLY wanted to write was that I love Bad Machinery. The last strip, with Shauna consoling Jack, their hug and his head in her lap on the park bench, it's a bit heartbreaking. Not in a bad way, but it makes me all wistful for being young.

Love it. I wouldn't get it for me, but I'd get one for someone else.

Aaron: I drew my default childhood brolly shape instead of a correct umbrella because I am mega tired and going a bit mentile. I will return tomorrow and draw it right. Also there is a bit where I coloured it wrong. Easily fixed by this MEGA TIRED MEGA PRO!

I really like this! It reminds me of something soothing and joyous and carefree from my childhood, although I don't quite know what (this is not a dire accusation of plagiarism or anything!)

Also, this is yet another girl drawn by you that I would like to look like. If I were more lissome and strawberry blonde.

I thought she had purloined the Bat Umbrella ;)
