Many apologies for slow blogging over the last week or so. I'm busy doing lots of commissions and working on the end of year charts! Many people have asked if Dr Ladysounds will return, the answer is "yes she will", from December 28-Jan 1st, and like last year I'll have videos and "fun" from the LPs in question on the blog.
I think a few people will be disappointed that I have placed Susan Boyle's debut release in all positions, 1-20, but you have to understand that some records are so big that they demand a chart to themselves.

It's a tough call to have made but she is the people's princess and you have to do what you have to do, no question.
Yes yes yes, I am so excited for Dr. Ladysounds. She is a holiday tradition, like an advent calendar.
Also, the little creatures in today's comic? I WANT ONE.
SO! I just wanted to let you know that the December 3rd Bad Machinery was AMAZING! Keep up the good work!
I hope your traffic is going back up and/or you are feeling better about the whole business. I am growing more fond (an understatement if there ever was one) of Bad Machinery every day!
If nothing else, maybe Dr. Ladysounds will bring back some of the older readers who will give it a second chance and discover how great it is shaping up :-) It now has the feel of SGR + tons of love + tons more (3 tons?) of attention to the art. Everything feels more... devoted and developed.
And despite my earlier sentiments RE: childrens, I now find myself really anxious to see the next step in their mystery solving crusade :3
Hey, now that she has the chance, which after all only arises once every ten years, will Dr Ladysounds be able to tell us anything about the albums of the decade?
I thought about albums of the decade about a month back but worried that it was too much Ladysounds. I'm not sure I can contextualise the last ten years without taking a couple of weeks in the Carribean to do it.
There's still plenty of time for the Caribbean since next year is the last year of the current decade.
Oh that old sore, give over! Was the first year of the modern epoch actually 1 AD? And what about the BCs when they were counting backwards, that must have been complicated! And what about when they harmonised the different calendars? I just don't believe in any of it, I will end my decade where the consensus lies to avoid looking like a mad crank.
That is not to say Rob that you shouldn't end your decade at a time that suits you. It is cool with me, it is fine.
All I know is that when I count on my fingers my left thumb is 10 not 9.
But you're right: whatever. I also don't care enough to be that concerned. I mean I don't even wear a watch. I was mainly considering the tropical vacation aspect.
