One thing I know in my heart is that there are about 80000 English-language webcomics. But do other countries have a similar tradition in their own languages? France and Belgium are hotbeds of comic art, but do they have their own equivalents of "Control Delete Alt" or "Very Good Cats"? Is there a Latvian "Overcompensating"? And whither the Polish "Order of Some Sticks"? Surely the Russians, the leetest haxxors of all, have their own tall-eyed "Gurl Genius". Are you foreign? Perhaps you know the answer!
As a fact bribe, here's a picture that will resonate in any ancient society's cultural memory.

Hitmen for Death. Sounds promising (though is written in English, which is disappointing). Artwork is delightfully dreadful.
I did once see an Icelandic one. It did not contain Sigur Rós or Bjork.
Well, for some reason, France has mostly autobiographic webcomics, known as "Blogs-BD"
Here is one of the best ones :

People always ask me* about the italian webcomics scene. Which is when i sheepishly confess i haven't the slightest idea if there is one at all. Most things i've seen were appallingly repetitive, but there's bound to be some good stuff around. Must investigate.

um!! the closest thing i know to korean comics is by hellen jo who is korean. but that's it. she actually writes in german more often than korean!! :O i think she is hilarious and lucky that she can get away with so much cussin
it is a super good question though i would love to find french comics!
As a chilean I must mention JUANELO.
He is a marshmellowish homunculus of devious intentions.

Most of the webcomics I read are written in Freedom.
Rob, that post was utterly redundant. You're staying late tonight. I want the Jackson account on my desk by 8 in the morning.
She writes in English (and one of her comics is actually about being a student in the UK!) but Coco Wang is Chinese, and some of her stuff is awesome!
