I am back from Brooklyn

I am back from Brooklyn and dealing with matters that have arisen in my absence. The good news is that Sister Bernadette has not burned down the house, although it was slightly disconcerting to return to her many makeshift altars and "Jesus baskets". Still, it beats returning to a living room full of white rastas and ganja smoke.

The good news is that while I was away, I had 100 Good Ideas, and good ideas mean good things to come for you, the reader. Time off is time well spent!

Nothing like that clean Brooklyn air to get the creativity flowing.

Truer words have never been said about time off and I keep trying to tell my parent's that but they're all "You're 25 and unemployed and living in our house, please leave!"

Err, Usually when a sentence begins by "The good news is...", people will expect the next one to be about the bad news. I'm glad to see that you have only good news to announce !

I only ever get about 64 Good Ideas on a vacation, and most of them get drowned out in a bunch of Bad Ideas and General Forgetfulness and Certainty That That One Idea Was Better Than This One.

'Jesus baskets'? Is this a euphemism for 'dustballs'?
