I realise I am late to the fray, but I just want to express my love for SGR and the Allison art and sense of humour in general. I've been reading for about a year. I have been telling everyone I know about it (sadly, I don't know many comics fans).
SGR is my favourite comic, web or otherwise. It just speaks to me.
Do whatever you have to do. I've always been stunned and impressed that you could do a comic of this quality five days a week!
Maybe Fop Chaser IS fully distinct from the delightful Ms. Beaton whom I, like many, rather suspect that FC is based upon. After all, Kate Beaton appears to be NO FAN of saucy poets:

Although maybe pig tupping analogies count as more than 'saucy' these days. Crazy times!

James Joyce and Norah is hardly Barbara Windsor and Sid James, Tom.
Well, no. For one thing, Sid James' use of metre was laughable.
