Feeling rough

Today's comic was a hard translation from rough to finished drawing, I leave you to draw your own conclusions from the evidence below.

The last panel took ten tries to get right.

I don't understand how Shelley and Esther even know each other at this point, since Erin's been retroactively erased from reality.

That's the magic of Scary Go Round!

I think if your town features Shelley, you'd know her.

Plus the magic thing.

Shelley and Ester are adorable in this comic btw.

The Boy used to be a neighbour of Shelley and Amy's, and had a crush on Amy. The rest follows from there!

I am SO reassured that SGR art does not spring fully finished from your brow. Theoretically I knew it must have a rough stage, but it's nice to know it really does exist.

That's no reason not to have an origin story; with more adorable-b-ness,

Kim:

the critical Shelley-Esther meeting takes place in a story that doesn't involve Erin.

Not that I would care if it didn't! I don't lose a lot of sleep over continuity.

I just wanted to say that the past three or four strips have been real inspired as of late; you're upping your movement and your style keeps getting more elaborate and awesome.

I love shelley's face when she's litting jar jar on fire in today's strip! and it all meshes well on your witticisms.

Shame about all that whole let's completely retcon the storyline every six months, but Good Show ol' chap.

Phill that is a baseless accusation.

A much belated comment, but... I would do something slightly outrageous for an "Ask Me About Unicorns" pin.

It makes me really proud to see people writing nice things about your work, bro. You'll be pleased to know I have wifi by the pool!
